Whether you're participating in the full eight-month Tama County Leadership Program or you just want to attend specific individual programs based on the topic, there's valuable information coming on Thursday, Nov. 8, when the program will be on "Building a Team."
Ilona Avery, Iowa Juvenile Home Clinical Director, will talk about the importance of working in teams, why some people dislike working in teams, the stages of team development, what leadership behavior looks like in a team, and much more.
"In October, class members had fun taking a Real Colors assessment that helped them better understand human behavior," says Sandy Supianoski, Tama Leadership Program coordinator. "Many of the students were excited to go back to their workplace and begin using information they had learned to better work with their staffs. We think there will be a similar buzz coming out of the November session on teamwork."
Leadership Program attendees include Robert Kendall, Dale Bucich, Sarah Keahna, Vestana Lasley, Linda Rosenberger, Samantha Sam, Jamie Busch-Upah, Ferol Ward, Cassie Sokol, Michele Werner,, Jerry Ebersole, Ashley Bolen and John Lloyd Unavailable for picture: Dan Zimmerman, Conrad Brown, Tom Dowling, Lynnette Harwick, Joni Mauskemo, Jolynn Stoneking, Dave Svoboda, Julie Wilkerson, Mark Zmolek and Anna Boecker. -Photo provided
