Hazel L. See, 90, of Tama, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her daughter's home in Tama under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Family Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a Service of Remembrance at 6 PM. Hazel was born on April 19, 1922, in Novinger, MO, the daughter of Albert and Edna (Brownell) Elliott. Hazel was formerly employed at the Tama County Home as a Certified Medical Aid. She volunteered for the Share Program, MICA, and other community projects. Hazel especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, four brothers; her son, Bruce See; and a great-granddaughter, Katie Buckley. Survivors include three daughters, Rae (Don) Bobinet of Thor, Carla (Fred) Buckley of Tama, and Nancy (David) Blocker of Tama; one son, Charles See of Toledo; eleven grandchildren, Lorence Bobinet, Douglas Bobinet, Scott (Chris) Buckley, Kelley Buckley, Candi (Tim) Walz, Brad (Lisa) Blocker, Amanda (Eric) Shilhanek, Melissa See, Amy See, Katy (Dan) Croskey, Kenny (Sally) McAdoo; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established.
