Letter to the Editor:
Thank you Jeanie Sieck! For bringing attention to the Tama County Human Society and their Volunteers last Saturay morning. We enjoy the visits from each person that comes in. We get so busy cleaning kennels and other chores. It is nice to have others come in and love up the pets. This makes them more ready for adoptions and makes them tired from attention so they can have good dreams while resting in the kennels.
Now if we can just educate the new owners of our pets to be VERY patient with your new pet while they learn their new boundries and house rules. It takes a little longer after you take them home as they are nervous and want to make a good impression. They are trying to be good, you just have to patiently teach them what to chew on instead of furniture. Or when it is okay to bark and also where it that darned door I have to go to when I need to go out.
All people are always welcome to come out and visit. Just come.
