Tyler Quigley graduates from U.S. Army basic

Pvt. Tyler Quigley graduated from basic training and Advanced infantryman training on Dec 4,2015 at Fort Benning, Ga.

Tyler is the son of Tim and Janelle Quigley, rural Toledo. He is a 2015 South Tama graduate.

During basic training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy and justice, physical fitness, first aid, Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included combat skills and battlefield operations.

The AIT course is designed to train the soldiers to employ, fire and recover anti-tank mines, locate, neutralize and extract mines, map reading and ground navigation.

Currently he is stationed in the states receiving more training.
