Leobardo Rocha, manager of Los Charros Mexican Grill in Toledo, was presented a certificate by Marvin Hoskey helsea, citing his restaurant has received over $1,000 in donations for world hunger from his customers since 2012. That will provide meals for over 350 children through the XANGO Goodness Program.
The company engineered an innovative meal replacement package for children needing nutrition but who were not able to assimilate what nutrition was being provided. The XANGO Meal Pack is a unique, dry powder formulation that is water-soluble and delivers all the critical nutrients in a way that malnourished bodies can best absorb and utilize.
XANGO has partnered with AmeriCares to ensure the delivery of the meal packs to the designated beneficiaries, whether they be in hospitals or children's homes or far-reaching outpost clinics.
The XANGO Meal Pack program is providing millions of meals to malnourished and undernourished children and families the world over, including countries such as Mexico, Haiti, thePhilippines, Afghanistan, Guatemala, El Salvador, and many more.
According to XANGO Founder Gordon Morton, "Through the XANGO Meal Pack, we have the ability to save countless lives."
