Women's Outdoor Track and Field Wins own Select Meet

Sports Editor Note: Sam Holtz was a graduate of the STC Class of 2014. She was a multi-time State qualifier in Shot Put in high school as well as a Drake Qualifier. She is the daughter of Kathy Holtz of Toledo.

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's outdoor track and field team won its own Select Meet with 248 points. The Knights finished ahead of Division I opponent, Northern Iowa.

The Orange and Black won six events as senior Becca Cherry (Waverly) claimed both the 100 and 200m dashes.
