STC Archers compete at Summer Iowa Games

STC Archers were on target at the Summer Iowa Games in Ames on Saturday, July 1. The High School started strong with Keely Driscoll scoring 275 to capture 2nd place in the 11 grade girls. Alaria Harken was next with a 263 score earning her 7th place in the 10th grade division. Jessica Nachazel scored 240 to place 9th in the 9th grade girls division. Kallee Wall wasn't far behind with a 236 to place her in 11th position for 10th grade girls.

The Middle School was led by Caleb Cosgrove with a 262 putting him in 4th place for sixth grade boys. Demitri Ferneau earned 6th place for 7th grade boys. Morgan Haughey shot a 245 for 8th place among the 8th grade girls. Wade Cosgrove took home 7th place for 6th grade boys with a score of 234. Grace Smith scored 229 to earn her 2nd place for 6th grade girls. Kara Nachazel cleaned up the 6th grade girls with a 4th place finish. Clayton Graff scored 161 to earn 14th place for 7th grade boys.

The Elementary School dominated the field with Millie Jefferson leading the Elementary with a score of 260 for 2nd place. Josey Wacha led the 4th grade girls with a score of 249 for 1st place in 4th grade girls. Close behind was Destanie Panosh with a 248 score for 4th place in 5th grade girls. Dakota Panosh was right behind her with a 247 and 5th grade girls honor. Cale Graff had a new personal best of 245 to earn 4th grade boys 4th place. Adam Haughey took home 4th place in 5th grade boys. Deja Sprague scored 213 to earn 8th place 5th grade girls. Tylus Skala earned a 13th place finish for 4th grade boys. Macie Jefferson 5th grader scored 185 putting her in 11th place. Mariah Gilbert scored 114 for a 7th place finish in 4th grade girls.
