Toledo Public Library News

September 19, 2017
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

The annual Book Sale runs through Oct. 31. Library staff have been busy weeding (removing) fiction, non-fiction, children's books, audio books and DVDs from the collection.

This process helps maintain the library collection and allows for new items to be added to keep our library current and tidy. It is also a required standard of the State Library of Iowa Accreditation Certification that the library maintains.

Stop in and browse the wide selection. You never know what you may find!

Terri Goodhart participated in the adult summer reading program, Build a Better World, where she challenged herself to read throughout the summer. Each participant that handed in their challenge received a $5 gift card, an adult coloring book and a chance to win the $25 gift card from Kwik Star. The gifts were provided by the library foundation and the $25 gift card was donated by Kwik Star. Thank you for providing incentives to make our program fun. Congratulations Terri.
