Iowa Electric- Alliant Energy retirees enjoy annual get-together

October 8, 2017
By John Speer - Editor (jspeer@tamatoledonews.com) , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

This group of retirees all got their start in the Toledo office of Iowa Electric Light and Power. Some retired from IE and others from its successor, Alliant Energy. All together they have over 200 years of service to the utilities.

The retirees represent both the operating and office divisions.

Fittingly, they get together annually for coffee and an afternoon of socializing and remembrances at the The State Bank of Toledo Community Meeting room on South Broadway as they did on Friday, Sept. 22.
