Before Judge Christopher L. Bruns in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Amber Joy Stehno, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of other violation of licensing provisions for health related occupations. She was fined and assessed court costs totaling $503.

Stehno, 32, Cedar Rapids, was charged on Aug. 22 with prostitution for allegedly willfully purchasing or offering to purchase a sex act in a County Attorney's information. An original charge of prostitution at the Meskwaki Travel Plaza parking lot, rural Tama, was filed by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Jacob Molitor on July 24.

Before Judge Andrew Chappell in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Brandon Michael Feickert, 37, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to forgery. He was sentenced to a suspended five-year prison term. A $750 fine was also suspended. Feickert was placed on probation for three years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. He was ordered to reside in a residential corrections facility for up to one year and to pay $233 court costs. The sentence is to run concurrently with those imposed in four Linn County cases.

Feickert was charged on July 18 with being in possession of a check with a forged signature by Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall.
