Break out your best dress or your suit and tie and get ready to kick up your feet.

The South Tama Leadership Class and STC Student Council are sponsoring an Adult Prom tomorrow night, Saturday, Dec. 2.

The idea was formed as a way to give back to others during the holiday season. The organization that will benefit from money raised by the Adult Prom is the Tama-Toledo Adopt-A- Family.

"Being able to have a Christmas and receive gifts, I'm thankful for that but I like them to have the same happiness that I have during Christmas. A part of Christmas is giving not always receiving," said leadership student Kaiden Buffalo.

The Adult Prom will be held at the Tama American Legion.

A meal will be served starting at 7 p.m. Happy Hour will follow from 8 - 9 p.m. with a dance starting at 9 until 11 p.m

. Admission includes the meal, photos and dance. There will also be games to play during Happy Hour and the dance.

Tickets are $50 for a couple and $30 for individuals and are available at the Tama Legion. For more information contact Emily Chyma at
