The STC boys were on the road again on Tuesday, December 19. They travelled to Independence where the captured a 50-47 win.

With 12.4 seconds left on the clock the Trojans held a one point lead. The Trojans were called for a foul under Independence's hoop sending their Zach Snyder to the line. Snyder missed both shots. It was a tense few seconds to close out the game with each coach calling timeouts.

On the Trojans next possession STC threw the ball away upon inbounding which gave the Mustangs another shot. The Mustangs took that shot and on the rebound Keith Keahna was fouled which sent him to STC's line. Keahna sunk both shots to give the Trojans their winning score of 50-47.
