Jan. 21

7:39 p.m.- Laura Angelica Galvez, 34, Toledo, arrested in the 500 block of Beautiful Street on a charge of violation of a no contact / protective order by Tama Police. Released on Jan. 22 at 10:43 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10 a.m.- Heather Lynne Cole, 41, Des Moines, arrested in Des Moines on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff's Office.

11:15 a.m.- Jessica Leigh Haskin, 29, State Center, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of simple assault by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 7:55 p.m. on surety bond.

3:04 p.m.- Chelsie Nicole Slack, 24, Ankeny, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and Tama County Road E66, rural Chelsea on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and speeding by the Tama County Sheriffs Office

3:50 p.m.- Chase Marcus Brown, 23, Marshalltown, cited by court on charges of assault causing injury - police or other officer, 3rd degree criminal mischief and interference with official acts- bodily injury on charges field by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police

Jan. 24

4:51 p.m.- Christopher Lee Cungtion Jr., 25, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids on charges of attempted murder, willful injury causing bodily injury, driving while barred, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and on a warrant by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Jan. 26

2:50 a.m.- Matthew John Williams, 33, Tama, arrested at 350th Street and U.S .Highway 63, Tama, on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, eluding, failure to obey stop sign and three charges of failure to use headlamps when required by Tama Police.

4 a.m.- Jadranka Tauberm, 49, Waterloo, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and on a warrant by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 9:25 a.m. on a promise to appear.

7 a.m.- Prince Pape Smith, 27, Des Moines, arrested in the 1800 block of U.S. 30 Expressway , Toledo, on charges of driving while barred, improper use of lanes, vehicle insurance violation and dark windows or windshield by the Tama County Sheriff's Office.
