Meeting on Emerald Ash Board meeting tonight -April 24- for Tama County

The Emerald Ash Borer has been confirmed in Tama County.

The Tama County Conservation Board and Tama County Extension and Outreach are hosting an informational meeting on Tuesday night, April 24, concerning the presence of the Emerald Ash Borer.

It is set for the Tama County Nature Center for 6:30- 8 p.m. at the Tama County Nature Center, Otter Creek Lake and Park, 2283 Park Road, rural Toledo, The meeting is free and registration is not required.

Presenters are Donal Lewis, Iowa State U. professor and extension entomologist, Mike Kinter, coordinator with the Iowa Dept. of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Mark Vitosh, Iowa DNR forester.
