IWARN Ham Radio Field Day set June 23

Iowa Wireless Amateur Radio Network (IWARN) is a group of ham radio operators from Tama, Butler, Franklin, Hardin, Grundy and Marshall counties are inviting the public to join them in our annual Field Day event on Saturday, June 23 from 1 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 24.

Field Day is an exercise we use to help improve amateur radio operators' emergency communication skills and demonstrate to the public what we do. An informational table will be available from 1-4pm on Saturday June 23rd, but you are welcome at any time to see what ham radio is all about.

When: Operating from 1:00 PM Saturday, June 23 until 1:00 PM Sunday, June 24

Where: The Mill Convenience Store (located at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 14 in Grundy Countywww.grundymill.com
