The State Bank of Toledo names Michelle Werner vice president

At the annual stockholders meeting and annual organizational board meeting of The State Bank of Toledo Michele Werner was promoted to Vice President and Compliance Officer.

Michele joined State Bank of Toledo in 2004. She is a graduate of Buena Vista University and 2014 graduate of Iowa School of Banking with 26 years of banking experience. Michele has been focused on lending and compliance since starting with the bank and has worked diligently to ensure adherence to all regulatory lending policies.

John Kavalier, President and CEO commented, "We are pleased to have Michele leading our Compliance Department. Her drive and ambition to interpret compliance for the bank is key to setting bank policy and to our continued growth and success. Her years of experience will prove invaluable as we navigate through the ever-changing world of compliance."

Michele and her husband Eric reside in rural Toledo with their two daughters, Hope and Belle. Michele is a member of the T-T Chamber of Commerce, PEO Chapter E.W., and St. Patrick's 4th grade CCD teacher.
