Market Report for July 20, 2018

The Toledo Farmers' Market started with the blow of the whistle on this beautiful Friday night. There were 16 vendors on this market night.

Kristi had plenty of cookies, pies, crisp, rolls, kolaches, rolicky, bread, and twistys.

Cindy and Rod brought sweet corn, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, and hot peppers. The tomato I purchased was delicious on my BLT.

Bailey had sweet breads, and jams.

Darold had zucchini, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, kohlrabi, green beans, beets, and onions.

Shirley and Michael brought buchty, angel food cake, kolaches, rolicky, and noodles.

Chuck and Ginger had pies, breads, kolaches, popcorn, potatoes, zucchini, green beans, cucumbers, summer squash, broccoli, and eggs.

Lois, Brenda, and Ethan are back with cucumbers, summer squash, cabbage, egg plant, and green peppers.

Abbi a new vendor had sweet breads.

Jim had his handmade leather goods under the pine tree.

Joe and Barb had crisp, breads, small sweet breads, small pies, granola, jalapenos, peppers, kale, broccoli, cabbage, and potatoes.

Janet arrived right before the whistle blew with cookies, eggs, peppers, summer squash, kohlrabi, and large beautiful tomatillos.

Julie had her beautiful plate art all set up ready to find new yards to decorate.

Kathy had a table full of snack mixes, Danish, breads, kolaches, nut coils, revel bars, rolls, bars, and garlic knots.

Gail and William from the Bunny Farm had zucchini, summer squash, tomatoes, green beans, jams, cucumbers, potatoes, cookies, hickory nuts, and onions.

Eugene had his hand made wooden signs displayed.

And Hans brought his delicious cherry tomatoes, and aloe plants.

Next week at market bring your lawn chair and enjoy some music being played by Dave Gray. Dave sings with the Marshall County hangman. He will be playing from 5 to 6:30.
