Toledo City Council members along with Mayor John Lloyd and City Clerk Kim McAdoo received an update and a tour of the Public Library prior to their regular meeting on Monday night, Aug. 29.

Jennifer Bledsoe, the library director, told the officials the library had 21,000 patrons last year and a total of 1,700 had attended programs offered at the library.

She reviewed some of the programs including a new one on card making which has proven popular enough to be offered monthly as part of the creative arts workshops.
