To Explain Active Shooter / Violent Intruder Steps

The South Tama Community School District in cooperation with the Tama County Sheriff's Office is presenting a forum for parents to provide details on the A.L.I.C.E. (Alert Lock Down Counter Inform Evacuate) initiative in the schools.

The informational meeting is planned for Thursday night, Nov. 8, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the High School Little Theatre, 1715 Harding (U.S. Highway 63), Tama. All parents and the public are invited.

Actions in place in the event of an active shooter / violent intruder situation will be provided in the discussion led by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Rod Drummer. He will also answer and concerns those attending will have.
