Get crafty with nature at the Tama County Nature Center Holiday Craft Workshop

Greet the holiday season with Tama County Conservation! Come out to the nature center for a morning of coffee, cocoa, cookies and crafts. The Nature Holiday Craft workshop will be Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9-11 a.m. Natural materials such as pinecones, fresh greenery, wood cookies, twigs. We will learn about the best times and methods for hiking around to harvest natural materials for crafting.

This is the perfect time to make ornaments, gifts, or home dcor for the holidays. There will be several options for ideas, but you can let your creativity run! Ages 16+ are welcome, so this would be a great way to relax while you craft and enjoy the park scenery or make it part of a fun, festive Girls' Day. lroberts@tamacounty.org. The fee for this workshop is $5 per person and can be paid the morning of the event with cash or check. Meet at the nature center at Otter Creek Lake & Park at 2283 Park Road, Toledo.
