Toledo-Tama Kiwanis Christmas tree sales are now underway

December 5, 2018
By Anne Michael , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Toledo-Tama Kiwanis have set up their tree sales. Last year, the trees sold out, and the Kiwanis hope for the same result this year. There are various sizes of trees and two types from which to choose. Just stop by and there will be a Kiwanian to help you with your tree.

Buying a Kiwanis' tree is a way of investing in the community. The group holds the Golden Ruler and the Awards Banquet to honor our young people. They also donate to the South Tama Scholarship Foundation and Adopt a Family as well as contributing to our foreign exchange students' lunch expense and sending students to two leadership camps.

The tree you take home from the Kiwanis' tree lot represents the true meaning of Christmas because you will not only be getting a beautiful tree but also you will be giving to your community.
