Before District Court Judge Christopher L. Bruns:

Gary Dean Wheeler Jr.,28, Vinton, entered a written guilty plea to 3rd offense possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but three days suspended and credited for time already served. A $625 fine was suspended and he was assessed $348 court costs and surcharge. He was also placed on supervised probation to the Department of Correctional Services and directed to pay a $300 supervision fee.

Wheeler was charged on Sept. 17 at a residence on State Street by Toledo Police Sgt. Dan Quigley.
