Super Bowl survey highlights

February 2, 2019
Special to The News-Herald , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Sports Illustrated and PCMag combined to conduct a survey with responses sought from over 2,800 fans. Here are some of the findings:

More states will be rooting for the Rams than the Pats - 22 states said the Rams were their Super Bowl pick, while only 15 states said the Pats were the top choice.

While cable is still the most popular choice for half of the respondents, it was found a spike in younger viewers - 60% of 18-34 year olds plan to stream the Super Bowl this year. A total of 50% of respondents will watch the Super Bowl via cable, while 11% will stream the game.

25% of survey respondents said they'd be gambling on the Super Bowl - and 15% of them will be gambling illegally!
