Special to The Chronicle , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

The State Bank of Toledo made a monetary donation to Kid's Corner Day Care for $975. This money was raised through the Blue Jean Friday contributions where employees pay $5 to wear jeans two Fridays per month throughout the year. The Humane Society also received a check for $975 from funds raised in 2018.

The two charities selected for the 2019 Blue Jean Friday funds will be The Toledo Public Library and The Tama Public Library.

The employees of The State Bank of Toledo logged over 1200 volunteer hours in 2018 helping re-define what community really means.
