The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association (IAHSSCA) released their Week Six rankings on Tuesday, May 7. The rankings will be used by the IHSAA to help seed the Substate playoff groups later this week. There will be a total of nine rankings, including the pre-season ranking, for 2019.

The Trojans made it into the top 15 for the first time this season and are ranked 12th with a record of 9-4. Quality wins have come against #16 Beckman Catholic, Decorah, and Center Point-Urbana with only one loss against an unranked opponent, a 2-4 road loss to Central DeWitt in their season opener.

South Tama is looking to capture their first winning season since 2015 when the team made a run into the state tournament, finishing as state semifinalists with an overall record of 18-4.
