At graduation South Tama recognizes 1st Native American valedictorian

Enriqueta Wanatee-Diego received top academic honors in the South Tama 2019 graduating class being named valedictorian.

The daughter of Melinda Diego, she spoke during graduation ceremonies Sunday, May 19, at the South Tama High School Gymnasium.

Wanatee-Diego plans to attend the University of Oregon in Eugene to study chemistry.
