Toledo Farmers Market

Market Report for May 31, 2019

Wow, one month of the Toledo Farmers' Market done. With that being said we have five more months of market left. Plenty of time to do some shopping.

Kristi had her delicious bakery lined up, twisty, pies, cookies, kolaches, rolicky, bars, cookies, and rolls.

Caryn arrived with her assortment of snack mixes, jams, jellies, and flavored popcorn.

Darold brought veggies!!!! Darold had radishes, onions, Swiss chard, kale, spinach, salad green mix, bull's blood greens, and sweet potato plants.

Michael and Shirley brought kolaches, rolicky, bismarks, cookies, angle food cake slices, and aloe plants.

Vernon and Wilma had eggs.

Chuck and Ginger brought onions, radishes, spinach, rhubarb, hot pepper powder, pies, kolaches, eggs, breads, crisps, and walnuts.

Sheryl brought ceramics', hot/cold rice bags, micro wave bowl holders, scrubbies, hot lid mitts, hot pad hand holders, lid grippers, micro pouches snuggle blankets, kitchen boas, full and half aprons, towel sets, cell phone wallets, adult aprons, bibs, and soy melts.

Joe and Barb brought breads, crisps, granola, onions, kale, and radishes.

Julie had her plate art all set up and ready to go.

Your Plate or Mine brought an assortment of small flavored breads.

On the last Friday of each month the Tama County Master Gardeners will be attending market with educational information. This week Elisa Bardole and B.J. Reed were at market with information packets, and free seeds. Mark your calendars for the end of July.

I would like to thank all the vendors that have been helping me this last month since my injury. I couldn't and can't do this without all of you. See you at market.
