Lindsay Schumacher, who again the headed the effort reports $4,115 in contributions were received and a great assortment of actual supplies were donated. Without listing the numbers for each, they ranged from binders and calculators to crayons and glue, notebooks and pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens and much more.

"I absolutely love organizing this event," Schumacher said. "Every year I'm reminded how great our community and local businesses are. Everyone comes together to donate to the school to help the children and the teachers. It makes me proud to be a part of the South Tama County School District."

Vanessa Rivera, STC Elementary at risk-liaison,says "Stuff The Bus was a complete success. Thanks Lindsay Schumacher for organizing and delivering it to our school and to everyone in the community that contributed.

" It makes me happy to know that we have such an amazing supportive community. We were able to give 55 students in our district a backpack with school supplies.
