Student performers at Kiwanis

March 16, 2020
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

At the March 4 meeting, Toledo-Tama Kiwanians were entertained by a large group speech ensemble from South Tama High School. They performed a dramatic cutting which was a gripping story of a family's handling of grief. The large group speech program is directed by Dixie Forcht. The program had another outstanding and successful season due to the students' talents and Forcht's guidance.

The club is always delighted to be able to witness students and their successes and found the presentation powerful and moving.

In the business part of the meeting, the club was reminded by chairman Sara Feisel that the Golden Achievement awards banquet honoring middle school students will be held on March 17 at the Tama-Toledo Country Club. Also, the membership drive will be started next week with the slogan "Kids Need Kiwanis - Kiwanis Need You."
