Attend tonight’s Toledo City Council meeting by computer only

Tonight's (Monday, March 23) regular meeting of the Toledo City Counicl will be made available to the public live on the internet due to Coronavirus precautions.

Toledo City Clerk Kim McAdoo advises "Those wishing to attend in person will be in the Fire Department. Public cannot attend in person due to the City wide building lock down, but they can attend the meeting on their own computer via Zoom at zoom.us/j/472455347." She advises to mute your computer.

Council members attending the meeting in person will meet at the Toledo Fire Station rather than the usual Reinig-Toledo Civic Center location.

As per Iowa's Open Meetings Law, Council can only listen during public comments and cannot take any action on items that are not posted on the agenda. Council may take issues under advisement and if needed refer them to a department head, Mayor's committee, or add them to a future agenda.
