CarrieElizabeth Ehrmann and Brett Matthew Karkosh, both of Cedar Rapids, were united in marriage on July 11, 2009 at the Rettig Gardens in South Amana. A reception was held at the Amana Golf Club.

Carrie is the daughter of Carl and Debbie Ehrmann of Amana. Brett is the son of John and Jody Karkosh of Toledo.

Carrie graduated from Coe College in 2007 with B.A. in Sociology and Public Relations. Brett graduated from Coe College in 2006 with a B.A. in Physical Education.

Carrie is employed at Walgreens Pharmacy and Brett is employed at Tanager Place.

The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
