Kevin Cooper, a rural Toledo native, and son of Phyllis and the late Richard?Cooper, received the Story County Citizen of the Year Award recently.

The presentation was made at meeting of the Story County Board of Supervisors.

He is a 1978 graduate of South Tama High School and graduated from Des Moines Area Community College and Iowa State University. His brothers, Rick Cooper DVM and Kevin Cooper, also live here.

Cooper received the 2017 Outstanding Ag Education Teacher Award last year.
