Historic King Tower sign now back in place
The iconic Native American sign is restored and back in front of the historic King Tower Cafe on Business Highway 30 east in Tama. Reinstalling the sign on Wednesday, June 3, were Thomas Company employees Jake Witt and Lars Dye with Larry Thomas in the bucket above. Artist Berleen Wobeter, rural Toledo, did the work to re-paint and preserve the sign which advertised souvenirs at the cafe for many years.
