November 18th, 2022 – On Nov. 9, Tama County Public Health and Home Care celebrated 55 years of service to Tama County citizens.

“We hosted an open house as we’ve been an agency for 55 years. We just wanted to say thank you to the residents of Tama County,” Said Shannon Zoffka, the CEO and Executive Director of Tama County Public Health and Home Care.

Burgers, chips, cookies, and the ever-popular kolaches were served alongside sherbert punch at the lunch celebration in the Tama County Public Health and Home Care building in downtown Toledo.

Zoffka and the rest of the staff at Tama County Public Health and Home Care are here to help the community with their needs.

“We take care of them through public, home, and environmental health. We hope to continue to serve the county, and we hope we’re your first choice,” she said.
