If you blinked, you may have missed this week’s Tama City Council meeting, as it was over in a flash. The meeting kicked off with a discussion of replacing the pool’s boiler. The current boiler in use at the pool has been going downhill for years and is held together with bandaids and chewing gum.

The projected cost for a new boiler is approximately $63,000. The Tama Council approved paying half, with the assumption that Toledo would pay the other half.

Next up was the approval of the Waste Water Supplemental agreement which concerns the generator replacement.

Both the urban renewal report and the FY2024 annual financial report were approved.
