The annual Alumni Night Pep-Band will be held on Monday, Jan. 6. In a girls and boys doubleheader against East Marshall, the band will bring the energy with STC graduates and community members encouraged to join in on making some high octane music to fuel the evening of fun.

STC band director Mike Carnahan shed some light on this year’s event.

“I want to start calling it Alumni/Community Pep Band to encourage anyone with a band background, not only STC alumni, to come play with us. After directing the Community Band for a number of years and hearing many of my teacher and staff colleagues reminisce about being in Band when they were in school, I know there are many out there who would have an absolute blast joining the fun!”

Call time is listed as 5:30 at the high school however Carnahan encourages guests to come when they’re available

“Any guest joining us can show up at any time that works for them, I’ll always do what I can to accommodate instruments as well.”

The STC pep band is always welcome to musical guests and if Monday January 6 doesn’t work the band is open with the games on Tuesday as well.

The community is encouraged to come out and hear instruments new and old blast out some classic hits and watch Trojan Basketball!
