The new Tama dog park was officially christened the Tama Bark Park at this week’s Tama City Council meeting. Among other things, the new Tama fire truck should be arriving this week, while the old fire truck, along with a street sweeper, will be sold.

The council approved hiring full-time ambulance personnel.

The council also approved moving the fountain, which currently sits in the park on McClellan, to the pocket park.
