Toledo Fire Chief Kendall Jordan released the following statement about a fire that occurred late last week, at K&K Auto Body & Paint in Toledo.

On March 13 at approximately 2:33 p.m., Toledo Fire and Tama Fire were dispatched to a structure fire at 304 North Broadway. Upon arrival there was fire on the outside of the building on the southeast corner. There was minor damage to the exterior of the building as well as some minor damage to the inside of the south wall and attic area in that corner. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire crews. The fire was believed to have been caused by an electrical short between two electrical panels on the exterior of the building. At 5:50 p.m. fire crews were called back for a small pile of insulation in the attic that rekindled.
