Isaac Fonseca Garcia, 24, of Marshalltown passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at the University Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday, December 12, 2016, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Isaac Fonseca Garcia was born on May 10, 1992, in Tizapan el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. He was the son of Modesto Fonseca and Olga Garcia. Isaac attended school in the South Tama School District and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 2010 and went on and attended Marshalltown Community College. Isaac loved soccer and played in high school and college and liked to play with friends on the “Party Boyz” team. He always enjoyed his friends and family and will be remembered for his particular tattoo “Life Goes On.” He was employed by Jasper Construction Service since 2006.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Modesto Fonseca (Luz Gonzalez), of Marshalltown; sisters: Alicia Fonseca (Fransisco Garcia), Martha Valdovinos (Juan Valdovinos), Diana Fonseca, Alexis Fonseca and Lizette Fonseca.

In death Isaac rejoins his mother, Olga (1999), grandparents, Francisco Garcia, Angelita Buenrostro, and Guadalupe Fonseca.
