Leon W. Kos, 89

Leon Wilmer Kos, 89, of Clutier, Iowa, son of Joseph Frank and Lillian (Sotyn) Kos, passed away Tuesday evening, August 2, 2022, at New Aldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Leon farmed northwest of Clutier for most of his adult life. He also was hired by neighboring farmers to assist with their farming needs. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals and his favorite pastime was spending time at the local casinos.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, Pauline Herink and Shirley Robinson and three brothers: Virgil, Lawrence and Jerald.

Leon is survived by many nieces and nephews.
