Pacific Bukuru, 25, of Tama, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Pacific was born on February 21, 1998, in Tanzania, Africa, the son of Erick Minani and Cimpaye Helena.

He graduated from Rock Island High School and attended two years of college. Pacific enjoyed making music.

Survivors include his parents, Erick Minani and Cimpaye Helena, of Tama; twin brother, Butoyi Patience; two other brothers, Sengiyumva Thiery and Ishimwe Gentil; one sister, Lovely Anita, all of Tama; and his grandparents in Africa.
