Alexah Mauskemo

TAMA-Alexah Marva Mauskemo, 30, of Tama, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at UnityPoint Health-Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A Traditional Wake was held Thursday evening, September 12, 2024, at the Glenn Roberts’ Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services were held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include her children, Marva Morgan and Xander Mauskemo; brother, Derrick Mauskemo; grandmother, Elizabeth Roberts; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
