Angela Montoya (Whitebreast)

TAMA-Angela Marie Montoya (Whitebreast) “Bye ta ga”, 80, passed away, Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her home in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. A Traditional Wake will be held Thursday evening, December 5, 2024 at Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building, on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Morgan Cemetery in rural Tama with Larry Lasley Sr. as speaker.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Eligio Montoya Jr., her children Allen, Timothy, and Francine, Granddaughters Lindsay Holmes and Crystal Byrd, great-grandchildren Jaiden, Jaionae, Jaiveon, and Devontae. Angela is also survived by her extended family at the Santa Ana Pueblo, NM, and Meskwaki Settlement, IA.
