Aaron Shawn Mauskemo

Aaron Shawn Mauskemo, 60, of Tama, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at UnityPoint – Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Traditional Wake will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include his brothers, Randy Blair of Bishop, California, Kenneth Mauskemo of Tama; sisters, Adrienne and Joni Mauskemo, both of Tama; cousin, Todd Mauskemo; special friend, Theresa Dickson; several cousins, nieces, nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
