Dear Editor:

Iowa Republicans like Brenna Bird blame democrats for illegals in Iowa. It is republicans who have complete control in Iowa, not democrats. It was a republican farmer who hired the illegal that murdered Mollie Tibbetts. When I worked in a meat packing plant that hired illegals, the only politician I saw a lot visiting that meat packing plant was Chuck Grassley. I didn’t see any democrat politicians back then visiting the plant. Chuck Grassley saw those illegals, and it didn’t bother him. Brenna, it was when Trump was president that Mollie got murdered, not Biden as president.
