Letter to the Editor: Who’s Who in This Election

For nearly three years a large group of Iowans have followed Tama County’s struggle against China takeover. TCATT, Tama County Against Technology Takeover, was formed and has continued to follow city, county, state and midwest activities through news, weekly meetings, personal contacts and all media sources.

Our first step towards accountability at the local level was to let voting folks decide to have five supervisors (63% said yes). After that, several candidates stepped forward to fight for a change to honesty, integrity transparency, reliability and preservation of the best and in the world. Our voters demand good land stewardship. And our candidates are not politicians by career, but hard working common folk who live on the land here, get outside and do manual labor every day of their lives. They are not above their obedience to God or the people they serve. I appreciate their love of our Lord and His creations, including us, we the people.

Please consider voting for your district candidates who will clean out prideful corruption and frequent waste of our tax dollars. And while you choose, remember that a 10-year-old turbine is almost dead. There are no grave yards for thousands of broken and destroyed solar panels, blades and turbine tubes up to 500 feet long. Don’t be afraid to vote one more time; for life and liberty.

-Auditor Karen Rohrs

-Representatives Dean Fisher or David Sires

-District 1 Supervisor – Curt Hilmer

-District 2 Supervisor – David Turner

-District 3 Supervisor – Heather Krebel

-District 4 Supervisor – Mark Doland

-District 5 Supervisor – Curtis Kupka

I am proud to know and have asked the tough questions to all of these available, local candidates; God fearing folks. We will continue to research, interview, pray for and hold their positions to their promisses. Act to vote Nov. 5 or Ashley Hinson and Trump/Vance this last election 2024 to save our county an our country.
