Berleen Wobeter is already sounding like a typical politician. Berleen is trying to use Christianity to promote herself. In her Q&A on Oct. 18 introduction it says, “(Berleen) Wobeter has also been a Christian education director and youth group leader for UMC-Toledo.”

Then, Berleen was quoted opposing funding for Christian education March 8 in the Tama-Toledo News Chronicle. In the Oct. 18 edition, it has Berleen Wobeter’s picture on the front page of an article that is seeking to remove funding for Christian education.

This funding makes it possible for families living in poverty to send their children to private, accredited schools that include Christian schools. The vouchers go to the education of their children, not the families. How does a Christian education director and youth group leader oppose Christian education?

We don’t need another typical politician. We need a real leader. I encourage you to vote for Mark Doland for Tama County Supervisor for authentic leadership.

We need a Christian Supervisor Board in Tama County that fears God who judges evil doings. But who will reward the faithful patient servants who believe on His Son Jesus.

We need to continue to stand firm for right as an example, but also to assist our people and neighboring counties, with strength of character and courage, to do right.

Our county and our country continues to throw out God on the rapid downhill slope to the socialism global one-world 2030 plan. We will lose all we have worked for, all our freedoms and we’ll lose our children.

As we go down, we are losing our intellect, common sense, moral values. Motivation to work for the dollar pay and we have lost the discernment to know right from wrong. It is incredible to me that Berleen does not remember these life skill lessons that she was taught as a child in our home, with parents and siblings, who loved our Lord and believed His word, promises and cautions printed in the Holy Bible; not in Big Bang.
