I am incredibly disappointed in how our local politics mirror the National. I love the truth, I work on facts and I follow the Constitution. The Bible guides me in how comport myself. Imagine my surprise to find myself for the first time on the front page of a newspaper. Not in one, but two articles. One was my bio and why I want to be a Tama County Supervisor. The other was in an October surprise attack against Mark Doland.

For the record, I would prefer Mark Doland to serve on the board with me. He says what he means, does what he says and has a multitude of people testifying to this. I keep private the information shared with me in confidence. As a candidate and hopefully soon your elected official, I want you to know I will not get into the gutter, but stay on the high road and serve you in a righteous manner.
