Rosenberger signs to play basketball at Simpson

South Tama County senior, Clayton Rosenberger signed a letter of intent to play basketball with Simpson College. The signing occured on Thursday, May 11 at the STC High School library.

While at South Tama Clayton played basketball and football all four years. He served as the quarterback for two years. He was also involved in Golf, variety show, FCA and NHS. In his free time Clayton enjoys basketball, football, golf, fishing, trapping and lifting. Clayton’s future plans are to go to a Division III school to play basketball and major in business.

The Simpson Storm basketball team is coached by Brad Bjorkgren and assisted by Brandon Stromer and AJ Gordon. Head Coach Bjorkgren was inducted into the Iowa High School Athletic Associations Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2017 for his career at Urbandale High School. Stromer recentely came in as No. 1 on the list of the top 25 assistant coaches in Division III. The Storm finished their 2016-17 season 16-10.

He is the son of Todd and Megan Rosenberger of Tama.
