South Tama’s first ever two-time State Champ has settled on Iowa State University. Judge will take his talents to Ames where he will wrestle with the Cyclones next fall. Judge signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, April 18 at the STC High School Library.

Judge transferred to South Tama for his freshman year of high school and has been making a name for himself around the Iowa high school wrestling scene over the past four years. Judge had a breakout sophomore season where he captured a third place finish in his first trip to the state tournament. He then won a State title as a junior in 2017 at weight 152. In 2018 he then defended that title at 152 in his senior year.

While at South Tama Judge has also been a two-time WaMaC Champ, once in his sophomore year and also his senior year.

The Iowa State Cyclones are coached by Head Coach Kevin Dresser and Assistant Coaches Derek St. John and Mike Zadick and volunteer assistant Brent Metcalf.

“It’s very exciting just to know that I am going to a good place and I’m just ready to wrestle,” said Judge.
